This versatile game calls for 2 or more teams to guess musical words or simple phrases on easy-to-read cards. Cards are divided into 2 difficulty levels, each with words or phrases in 4 different categories: Musical Things (trumpet, quarter note, orchestra, etc.), Musical People (conductor, Michael Jackson, Beethoven, etc.), Musical Works (Old MacDonald, Stars & Stripes Forever, etc.), Musical Grab Bag ("mi," crescendo, etc.). Optional instructions make this game adaptable for larger classes, non-competitive play, and situations where you wish to add musical notation, singing, or dramatic gestures. Also included are a number of blank cards so you can add your own suggestions. The game is best played at the chalkboard but may be used with pencils and paper (not included). Bach To The Drawing Board is a game that can include your whole class, reinforcing their knowledge in a variety of musical areas.
